From the time I was a little girl (maybe 2), I knew I wanted to be a mom. Its all I did with my time. Play with baby dolls, flock to babies at parties, get-togethers, functions… I loved to hold babies & play ‘mommy’; I just knew that I was destined to be a mom. Even though I changed my mind on many things throughout my life, I never changed my mind on the fact that being a mother was ultimately what I wanted. Today, I am blessed to have 2 beautiful children that call me mom. Actually, they started with ‘mama’, then mama turned into ‘mommy’, and now… it depends what they want. They know I love ‘mama’ so when they want something, they’ll pull out the sweet “please mama?” voice and I’m a sucker. My boys know my weak spot. I adore being a mom; its everything and more I could have ever imagined.
I love watching my little ones grow.
I love learning from them.
I love seeing the world through their eyes.
I love that they are dependent on me.
I love that I can kiss away boo boos and my kiss is the only one that counts.
I love to speak & sing in crazy voices that only their ears will ever hear.
I love to dance a crazy dance around our house that only their eyes will ever see.
I love that I can pray for them and suddenly, they are calmed.
I love the time I get to spend with them each and every day.
Being a mom is my biggest achievement in life. No matter what I have or will accomplish, no matter what I have or will succeed in, nothing will compare. Being a mom has also made me fall more in love with my husband. I now get to watch my husband in a different light… as a father… of our children. And its the most spectacular thing I’ve ever been part of. Rocco & Roman are my biggest source of joy. They are my happiness and my loves and I am honored to be their mom. I’m thankful that the Lord gave them to me and trusted me to raise them into strong men. I’m blessed to call them my own and love being their mom & mommy & mama…

Happy Mother’s Day too all the moms out there – I’m proud to be a mama along side of you. Watching other moms inspires me to be the best mom I can be. I love to learn from you and enjoy going through this stage of our lives together.
A very special Happy Mother’s Day to my mama & mother-in-law. Mama, I am who I am today because of you. Thank you for all the sacrifices you have made and continue to make. You encourage me, inspire me and I strive to be more like you as I grow into the mother I am. And to my mother-in-law, Thank you for being such a wonderful mother-in-law and for also raising my husband into the man he is today. You did such a phenomenal job and I am madly in love with him. I hope to raise our boys to grow up to be just like he is.

What a sweet post. I also enjoy being a mommy.
Although I never really WANTED to be one.. haha I wanted to be a Navy Seal.. (They don’t allow women, I soon found out. And they don’t for a good reason) OR I wanted to be a major boss in a corporation. I suppose in a way, I am a boss of a corp. Our Home.
Needless to say I think this job, SAHM, fits me best.
Wow! I would have never guessed that!
And yes, you ARE the boss of a corporation… a very important one at that and you are doing a fabulous job!!!
Yup, all of those little things are what matter more than anything else!
I’m always saying, “Its the little things…” so you’re right!
