OK, OK… I know I don’t share or do many DIY projects. (Many? I probably should have said, ‘ANY’.) I’m being honest; its just not my thing (yet). I love to look at them and pretend like I will actually craft whatever it is I’m looking at but then, well, I don’t. At this stage of my life, when I see something I want, I just save my money and buy it in the store. Maybe its a patience thing or a time thing or a collecting of materials and crafting thing. Who knows. Recently, I’ve been searching for fun fridge magnets. I want to hang Rocco & Roman’s art work but the magnets I have are so boring and the ones I love (at a little boutique near our home) are $8-$12 each! That’s $60 for 5 magnets… Saving my money. However, during a Google search, I came across these Earring Magnets!
Its a DIY project…

Supposedly, this is a simple project; one that even I could do! It involves earrings and/or broaches, (which I have lots of, from back when wearing broaches was a huge trend), magnets, glue and VOILA! Just look at the beauty! I want 10 of them:

I propose we attempt to make a few DIY Earring Magnets – Can’t be that hard, right? I need that ‘popper offer’ tool (and yes, I will use that word until I figure out what is in her hand.) For more on this project, go to Ready Made; an awesome website with cool crafts, recipes, etc. and cool chicks like Megan Jeyifo who made these beautiful fridge magnets!
Happy Crafting Ladies…
and PS. My birthday is in July! *wink*
