I currently own the Hoover EmPower 4600 and absolutely love it but it was time to own a lightweight vacuum to keep up with our home! With 2 toddler boys, a baby on the way and 1 dog, I wanted another vacuum that would be quick to grab, easy to vacuum and small enough to fit in our little hall closet! The Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Vacuum is perfect! Upon receiving my new vacuum, the first thing I noticed was how easy it was to put together and how lightweight it is (12 lb.’s!!!); even Rocco can use it and get the job done too! However, go figure, the two plastic vacuum cleaners from Toys R Us are useless now that we have this! One of the features I appreciate is the adjustable handle. Its the little things like that on a vacuum, on a stroller, that make for a perfect fit for us all: I am 5’4″, my husband is 6’2″ and like I said, even Rocco can use this vacuum!
The Hoover Wind Tunnel Air Vacuum is so easy to use around our home and I love that the cord is very long. I can plug it in by my front door and go pretty far around the different rooms in our home. It fits through my kitchen table chairs, under our entry-way table and in between spaces where our other vacuum cannot! Because of those things alone, I pull this vacuum out more often and save our other Hoover for my ‘deep clean’ and ‘heavy duty’ days! I also like that this vacuum cleaner is bagless (1 less thing to worry about). Of the many floors that we have in our home, I feel that it picks up dirt and dust the best from our hardwood and tile floors. It works very well on carpets (especially on the shorter 2nd floor carpet) but our family room carpet is VERY thick and I don’t feel the suction is strong enough to get down deep in that particular carpet. One thing I wish this vacuum had is adjustable floor settings to use on all different carpet lengths. One of my favorite features is that you can turn the brush roll on and OFF so when I use it on our hardwood floors, I make sure to turn it off so that nothing accidentally scrapes the surface. My kids drag in tiny, little rocks from outside and having that feature is just awesome!
I would definitely recommend this product for moms and dads of little ones and also for those who have pets! Its quick, easy, lightweight and gets the job done well!
