Time is flying baby! Well, not really. Sometimes, by nights end, my body feels like it did when I was 7 months pregnant with the boys. My back is really hurting this time regardless of the moves and stretches and exercises I do but I’m not complaining. Little one is doing great; kicking and moving like crazy and I’m very excited to start our lives with 3 kiddos! This weekend, we got a good feel of what life will be like with 3 when we watched my ‘nephew’ (my best friends, son) Levi for the morning! We took him right along with us and Brian only drove through Starbucks twice ; ) Lots of giggling and ‘Knock-Knock’ jokes; I’m so excited to have 3… heck, dare I say it… 4!
As for my 5 1/2 month ‘Style’, this is What I Wore
(Forgive me for always taking iPhone ‘style’ pics.)
My outfit is simple and consists of a really comfortable black top that was crocheted all around the top… A little feminine touch; I love crochet! With it, I wore Liz Lange Dark Jeans (that need to be hemmed) so I folded the bottoms up and it looked good! Then, I slipped my PiggyToes in a pair of bright reds and wrapped a necklace around my wrist! Yes, that’s a necklace! I loved all the chains together next to my watch.
Baby is growing, growing, growing! I think the books say he/she is between 8 & 9 inches long now! Sweet thing… And for me, I feel better about my changing body when I put a cute outfit on each day. I admit, its hard to watch your body transform and change in such a fast amount of time, so when I throw t-shirts and sweats on (which I do), I just don’t feel as good.
A little makeup, jeans and a top, a fun pair of heels and a simple bracelet go a long way! This is what I think about when getting dressed:
It takes the same amount of time to put jeans on as it does sweat pants. It takes the same amount of time to put a cute top on as it does a t-shirt. The difference isn’t how you look, its HOW YOU FEEL.
