What I Wore: The ‘W’ Wedding

I love love.  And I love weddings!  I love watching the groom’s face when his bride walks down the isle.  I love the ceremony and the ’1st kiss’ and the happiness that fills the room.  I love the little details, the flowers, the cake, the up-dos and the down-dos…

This weekend, Brian had the privilege of being in (what I’ve been calling) The ‘W’ wedding and we had quite an awesome weekend!  While Brian was in the wedding party, I got to catch up with great friends who I haven’t seen in a while, not to mention, it felt so great to get ‘dolled up’ and spend a couple of nights in a row out of the house!

WHAT I WORE : THE ‘W’ WEDDING WEEKEND

For the Rehearsal Dinner, I found this cute ‘Everly’ Polka-dot Dress.  When I first saw it, I loved that it had long sleeves; perfect for the season and decided to pair it with nude pumps, red nails and gold earrings!

Did you know that when you wear nude shoes with a dress, it makes your legs look longer?  True!

And this 5’4″ girl will try anything to look just a little taller ; )

For the Wedding, I wore this Chevron dress from my latest ‘STITCH FIX‘ box!

Instead of a necklace, I added a sparkly belt around my waist, gold diamond shaped earrings (Premier Jewelry) and Gold/Silver sparkly heels (Nine West)!

When planning this outfit, I wasn’t sure if it would be a cold Fall evening so I picked up a pair of opaque tights and an infiniti scarf…

Meanwhile, it ended up being in the high 70′s so I didn’t need the tights or the scarf but I’ll save them for the winter!  Just another way to wear this dress!

I’m also thinking black booties and a black leather jacket or sweater would go well too!

The ‘W’ Wedding Weekend was so special to us!

The newlyweds looked so happy and are just the sweetest couple and a great example of what love is.  We couldn’t be happier for them!

LOVE IT!!! Thanks for the pic!!! I just got all excited and said out loud in my cube “I MADE THE BLOG!” HEHEHE!

  2. So with Stitch Fix–how much would you say an average box would cost if you purchased every piece in it?…I dread shopping because it usually means taking a brood with me–so it sounds like a fun option!

Christine- The BEST part about Stitch Fix is that YOU can choose your price point! $50-$100, $100-$150, $150+… up to you! And you can change it at any time too, let’s say if you want something REALLY special, you can choose a higher price or maybe you want a cool necklace for $20- just tell your stylist! I LOVE this company; my next FIX should be coming this week! Let me know if you end up trying it out :) xo
